Repurposed Art - why not?

Graphic Designer by trade, I felt the need to channel my creative side with a more tactile approach. My carpenter friend was sending leftover wood to a landfill and thought to myself, why not create something with it to minimize waste. With this pile of reclaimed construction lumber, a saw & sander in hand, my project was born.

As an avid typographer always wanting to hone my skills, I meticulously designed the lettering for each quote. The blocks are painted & sanded to give it that “shabby chic” look and then the lettering is applied to them.

This upcycled motivational wood sign may be small, but it carries a powerful message with its meaningful words and/or saying. It makes a wonderful gift as they look perfect displayed just about anywhere, from kitchen to office. They will bring a smile to your face and offer inspiration without uttering a word - because the block says it all!
